I-95 Link

The redesignation project consists of four main phases, as shown on the map below.
The time frame for each phase, the section included in that phase, and the agency responsible for the work are also shown below.

Phase I: COMPLETED MARCH 2018

In New Jersey, I-95 is now I-295 between US 1 and CR 579/Bear Tavern Road.

Responsible Agency: NJDOT

Phase 2: COMPLETED MARCH 2018

In New Jersey, I-95 is now I-295 between CR 579/Bear Tavern Road and the Scudder Falls Bridge over the Delaware River.

In Pennsylvania, I-95 North/South is now I-295 East/West between the Scudder Falls Bridge and SR 2071 (Taylorsville Road).

Phase 3: April 2018–Opening Day

In Pennsylvania, I-95 North/South becomes I-295 East/West between SR 2071 (Taylorsville Road) and the PA Turnpike.

Responsible Agency: PTC

Interchange Opening Day: To be determined

In Pennsylvania, the PA Turnpike and I-276 East/West becomes I-95 North/South between I-95 and the Delaware River (Turnpike Connector) Bridge.

In New Jersey, I-276/NJ Turnpike (Pearl Harbor Memorial Extension) becomes I-95 north and continues along the NJ Turnpike beginning at Exit 6 to the official terminus of I-95 at the Canadian Border near Houlton, Maine.
